Originally written and composed over 16 years ago by Jocelyn’s aunt, Regina, and first recorded as a demo by the Spirit of Paradise—the Gospel group formed by Jocelyn’s mother, Kimberly, and her aunts Jennifer and Regina—the song remained unreleased following Kimberly’s passing. Years later, Jocelyn felt called to continue what they began. With soulful Gospel roots and a contemporary feel, “He Is The One” carries forward a family legacy while keeping its message firmly centered on Christ. Jocelyn’s prayer is that listeners experience the same joy, passion, and presence of God woven into the song from its beginning.
