Representing the Most High, Jocelyn was a hidden gem that is now reveling in the light. Singing and writing since a babe, she’s called to share her gift with the world. The seed was planted many years ago at a hootenanny in Gary, Indiana.
She credits her passion for singing to The Spirit of Paradise--the singing group who ministered to her throughout most of her life. Her late mother, Kimberly Briscoe, and two aunties were the beautiful voices of this group. Jocelyn carries on the assignment given in the beginning. Her soft, soothing vocals transcend you to a place of peace as the Holy Spirit moves through her. She's a reminder that you can take God's peace everywhere you go.
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Jocelyn was brought up in the church. Surrounded by the praises and songs of the gospel, she took to music at a young age. While she began a secular musical career, the Holy Spirit fell upon her with a change of plans. She released “Serenade” as her spiritual debut following a prophecy from God. Jocelyn's writing is an embodiment of how God has lifted her from the valley and placed her onto higher ground.
